Our History

AlphaPet Chichester Vets joined the AlphaPet Veterinary Clinics group in 2002.

Prior to that the surgery had been run primarily as an alternative veterinary practice.

AlphaPet was established by Richard Edwards MRCVS, Sandra Leatherdale VN and Katie Rook MRCVS in September 1993, when they opened surgeries in Bognor Regis (now the AlphaPet Bognor Regis Veterinary Hospital) and Birdham.

Doug Alexander MRCVS joined the practice and became a partner in 1998 and continues to hold consultations at this surgery.

Vets, Nicky Bulbeck (nee Bird) and Paul Irvine-Smith have been the main vets at the Kingley surgery in recent years. Paul retired from the practice in April 2016.

All three surgeries have gained Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Accreditation and Investors In People Accreditation.
